We are seeking a highly motivated Co-op Intern to join our Filter Automation team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and automation of design, verification, and tapeout flows for SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) and BAW (Bulk Acoustic Wave) filter technologies. You will work closely with design and process engineers to improve engineering productivity, streamline workflows, and enable efficient transfer of designs from concept through fabrication.
This position offers hands-on experience with industry-leading EDA tools, including Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, AWR, HFSS and Calibre, while developing software solutions to automate and streamline the design and fabrication process.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Strong programming skills in Python.Experience with software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Familiarity with GitHub and collaborative software development workflows.
Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
