Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of Oracle Database administration and PL/SQL development in a production enterprise environment.
• Experience creating and maintaining stored procedures, functions, packages, views, indexes, and other database objects.
• Experience with performance tuning, execution-plan analysis, indexing, statistics, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup and recovery, high availability, database security, access controls, auditing, and change management.
• Experience supporting application modernization, schema and data migration, interface changes, and CI/CD-based database deployments.
• Ability to work with architects, middleware developers, QA automation engineers, security, and operations teams.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience in FISMA/NIST-aligned or other compliance-driven environments is preferred.

• Administer and maintain Oracle database environments, including availability, performance, capacity, patch coordination, storage, and operational health.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, views, and other database components in coordination with middleware and architecture standards.
• Review query and schema designs to promote efficient data access and avoid unnecessary duplication or excessive business logic in the database tier.
• Plan and carry out schema changes, data migrations, backfills, conversions, and release-related database updates through controlled processes.
• Implement and support backup, recovery, restore validation, high-availability, and disaster-recovery needs, as applicable.
• Apply least-privilege practices, access controls, auditing, applicable encryption-related database configurations, and other required security controls.
• Work with application teams to troubleshoot performance, locking and blocking, transaction, data-integrity, and connectivity issues.
• Support QA with test-data needs, defect investigations, data validation, and performance-test diagnostics while protecting sensitive information.
• Maintain database documentation, schema and data dictionaries, operational procedures, change records, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Support monitoring and alerting, and provide database-level evidence for release readiness and operational support.
