Best in Business, and LinkedIn Top Startups.Your roleAs a Product Designer at Zip, you’ll work on real, customer-facing features across a wide product surface area for procurement, which at its essence is managing the process of helping companies buy what they need. You’ll be collaborating with other experienced designers, PMs, and engineers who care deeply about craft, collaboration, and building consumer-grade experiences for complex enterprise workflows. You’ll have direct access to our users for UX Research and testing, and the features you design will be immediately used by our users. You’ll work with a tight-knit team that values open communication and cross-functional collaboration.This role will be on our AI platform team, which will think through what are core patterns and capabilities that we need in order to power AI agent experiences across the platform. You’ll dive deep with different teams to understand how their personas can benefit from different AI features and develop repeatable interactions and patterns that can be used across multiple teams.We are looking for designers who are eager to take ownership and grow quickly by working on high-impact problems used by some of the world’s leading companies.Please note, we are looking for someone who will be able to come into our San Francisco office on a hybrid basis (3 days / week).You willLead the design of AI platform features from concept to launch.Drive a compelling vision on how AI permeates throughout our app and is integrated thoughtfully where it matters most.Partner closely with engineers, and with PM and go-to-market stakeholders to brainstorm, define, and implement new features and offerings.Collaborate closely with our product and customer-facing teams to participate in UX Research and design thoughtful solutionsIterate quickly on designs based on user feedbackLead regular design reviews with the broader AI team.Work closely with product designers across the organization to understand their specific team’s needs Qualifications8+ years professional design experience working at a startup or similarly resource-restricted organization shipping great designs at a fast paceExperience shipping AI products end to end as the lead designer.Experience iterating with engineers and other team members on both visual and UX designs to get the experience and details just rightGreat presentation, collaboration and communication skillsEmpathetic champion for your work’s audience and customersStrong visual design skills without sacrificing usabilityUnderstanding of the technical constraints of building web applications.You build with AI tools in your own workflow, prototyping with Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, or whatever gets your ideas into something clickable fastest.The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $270,000.
